Charles Renfro is a partner at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, an interdisciplinary design studio that integrates architecture, the visual arts, and the performing arts. He is partner-in-charge of the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, Stanford University’s McMurtry Art and Art History Building, and the Dissona Factory and Housing Complex in Shenzhen, China. DS+R’s international portfolio includes the Broad Museum in Los Angeles, the Museum of Image and Sound in Rio de Janeiro, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, the High Line and the redesign of Lincoln Center. Mr. Renfro is on the faculty of Columbia University and also serves as board president of the Storefront for Art and Architecture.
