AllArtNow was initiated in 2005 as a reaction to a series of different limitations that exist for artists and other cultural producers working in Syria. Project after project convinced us of the need and the benefits of developing a platform for contemporary art, and providing opportunities for artists to flourish. AllArtNow was initiated in 2005 as a reaction to a series of different limitations that exist for artists and other cultural producers working in Syria. Project after project convinced us of the need and the benefits of developing a platform for contemporary art, and providing opportunities for artists to flourish.  We have succeeded in encouraging artists to work using contemporary practices, such as video, installation, and performance.

 

We aim to continue developing new collaborative approaches with organizations in & out of Syria.  Through our work as supporters and facilitators of contemporary art practices we aspire to create opportunities for artists, ranging from workshops to residencies and exhibitions; and for our audiences, through participation and open dialogue.

 

AllArtNow is always open to artists from different regions of the world to work and be in contact with local artists, because we believe that by collaborating with others we can improve the current ecology of the arts in Syria.
