„Unwiped Windows” takes us to Verona or perhaps any other city in the world, where on old walls and windows one can see a mark of passing time, the emotions embedded with a smudge of a finger or an incise of a stone or a key. The multiple layers of colour remind of the paint on the walls, that scrape off, and while in destruction, reveal a testimony of the past, of romance and of long gone glamour. In the same time, almost to contradict the destruction, all the layers and writing combine together to let the beauty reemerge from beneath.
Painter and Poet, Endri Kosturi, was born in Albania in 1980 and brought up in Italy. He started painting at a very young age and has exhibited regularly in Trieste, Milan and Paris throughout last decade. His signature mural theme: Windows, Walls and Balconies, embodies a research in Italian Informal Art and Abstract Expressionism.
