Photography Myriam Gaumond "Portraits de dos" proposes to revisit the traditional portrait, offering a view of both disconcerting and strangely familiar. This series of photographs reminds us of our experiences in daily life: people who are with the back to us in a queue, or someone walking on the sidewalk ahead of us. The lack of a face creates an initial anonymity, but the secondary elements such as posture and hair provide us with clues of the subject's character.
