Galería will host a FREE 3-day intensive Grantwriting workshop to support the professional development of Native American and Indigenous artists. Over the course of three sessions, workshop participants will develop a grant proposal specific to Galeria’s Small Grants Program. Participants will request $1,000 to support a project that fits Galería’s Artistic Programs (see below). A peer review panel will award three $1,000 commission grants to artists or groups to implement their project. Selected projects will be included as part of Galería’s 2010-2011 public program calendar.
