Festspielhaus Afrika is a long-term initiative, including an opera house with a theater stage set donated by RuhrTriennale, and a school – designed by architect Francis Kéré – with music and film classes. The stage is open for professional as well as non-professional performers from Africa and abroad and encourages individual initiative.
