In partnership with the Arts and Humanities Academy at Berkeley High, Kala’s Artists-in-Schools Program leads intensive curriculum-driven workshops at each grade level (9–12). The student artists/scholars will present work that explores immigrant voices, HIV prevention, First Amendment rights in relation to artists, and ways of mapping our local communities. This exhibition is presented in conjunction with Youth Arts Exhibition: K-8 at Berkeley Arts Center and as part of Art IS Education month featuring special arts programming across the state during the month of March.
