Kala Art Institute is excited to present artist talks by 2012-2013 Kala Fellowship artists Stella Ebner and Clint Wilson. Kala’s Fellowship Program includes an annual series of public programs presented by current Fellows during their studio residencies. The talk is free of charge and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Stella Ebner is a printmaker whose subject matter centers on the perceived unusualness of the everyday. Through her technically precise representational prints, Ebner is able to capture an underlying essence or collectiveness of existence through the intersection of the mundane and the profound. Stella Ebner received her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2006, and resides in New York.

Clint Wilson's multi-media practice incorporates research with the development of re-constructed objects, filmic and mechanical events, and photographic documents. Through his work, Wilson constructs artificial narratives around themes of wildness and the atmosphere of wonder that often envelopes it. Wilson lives in Edmonton, Alberta.
