Vacuum Paradoxicon is a collaboration between Amanda Gehin and Stewart Losee. Gehin is interested in impossible shapes, such as the quadrilateral, the impossible cuboid, and the impossible triangle. These shapes are exemplary of what is constructible in only a theoretical, mental landscape. Losee explores the origins of image, or the fundamental mechanisms of image as a function of biology rather than culture. His work explores the fundamental forms of ancient art and manifests them as architecture.
