The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF), New York’s premiere French cultural center, together with Aeroplan, presents the Canadian violin superstar Angèle Dubeau and her acclaimed all-female chamber ensemble La Pietà in their New York debut. The top-selling classical group in Canada, La Pietà will perform a program of landmark works from the group’s repertoire as well as pieces from her recent best-selling trilogy of albums, Portraits, devoted to Philip Glass (2008), Arvo Pärt (2010), as well as John Adams, her most daring recent album, that will be released in the U.S. on February 15.
