The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF), New York's premiere French cultural center, in collaboration with AOC Fine Wines, is proud to present an exciting new take on its popular annual tasting series A Wine Tour de France. In February 2011 for the first time, six sommeliers from New York’s most distinguished restaurants will lead adventurous oenophiles on a delectable romp through France’s celebrated wine regions.
This year, each tasting will be led by a sommelier from one of New York’s most prominent restaurants, allowing guests to learn about the richness and variety of France’s vintages from six different experts. The sommeliers include Raj Vaidya, Head Sommelier at Daniel; Michael Madrigale, Chef Sommelier at Bar Boulud; Kristie Petrullo, Chef Sommelier at Jean-Georges Restaurant; Belinda Chang, Wine Director at The Modern; Levi Dalton, Sommelier at Alto; and Ryan Mills-Knapp, Sommelier at Tribeca Grill.
