The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF), New York’s premiere center for French language and culture, invites viewers this month and next to experience a collection of vintage poster lithographs from the Atelier Mourlot in a new exhibit, The Great Masters of Lithography. Until January 22, 2010, the FIAF gallery will showcase a stunning array of lithographs from the renowned Atelier Mourlot, featuring masters such as Matisse, Braque, Chagall, Picasso, Miró, Dubuffet, and Leger. In addition to displaying the vintage works at the gallery, FIAF has also opened its first ever online boutique, “La Boutique”, which has the entire selection of these rare works on sale for the holiday season.

In the spirit of celebrating, a selection of the lithographs exhibited in The Great Masters of Lithography are now available for purchase directly at the FIAF gallery, as well as online through La Boutique at www.fiaf.org/laboutique. With prices starting at $125 for vintage lithographic posters, the selection is budget-friendly for the holiday season and presents a unique gifting opportunity to shop for those looking for something very special and different.
