Join the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) during the months of November and December for a new look at the later work of iconic French film director, François Truffaut. As part of its CinémaTuesdays film programming, François Truffaut: A Winter Portrait will showcase eight vibrant and intensely personal films directed by Truffaut, including an opportunity to meet actress Bernadette Lafont, star of A Gorgeous Bird Like Me, with a Q&A session moderated by renowned New York film critic and historian Elliott Stein.
