James Ellroy Reading
"Novelist James Ellroy, author of L.A. Confidential and The Black Dahlia, will read from his most recent novel, Blood’s a Rover. This event is part of George Mason University’s Fall for the Book Festival.
James Ellroy is one of the world's best-selling crime writers and essayists with a unique "telegraphic" writing style, which punches out words other writers would consider necessary. His books are noted for their dark humor and depiction of American authoritarianism. His books include Brown's Requiem, Clandestine, Blood on the Moon, Because the Night, Suicide Hill, Killer on the Road (also published as Silent Terror),The Black Dahlia, The Big Nowhere, L.A. Confidential, White Jazz, Hollywood Nocturnes, American Tabloid, My Dark Places, Killer on the Road, and The Cold Six Thousand."
