Jonathan was born 1970 in Tokyo. His parents are walisish-german.He attend Hochschule für bildende Kunst in Hamburg from 1995 to 1998.

He is self-proclaimed cutural exorist and styles himself as a cult figure. In a short time he was wellknown and meantime his art is more and more inernational and expensive. He is one of the new wild artist. He is a friend of Daniel Richter, they made an exhibition together.

On the23th January 2008 Meese and Georg Baselitz celebrat a big birthday party together, Meese 38 and Baselitz 70 years old.
