Tania Mouraud Overview

Tania Mouraud is a French artist (born 1942), and an autodidact; she is now a leading figure in contemporary French art. Her commitment to social issues is engaged in a context that is expressed through various types of media: from photography to video to live performance (and other types of  media). She is focused on themes of anxiety and responsibility, and how globalisation, and the current unbalanced economic environment takes its toll on the most vulnerable people, and cultures.
