Werner Foster is a New Jersey based artist currently working in Acrylics, with a wide array of subject matter included in his imagery, from tight realism to complete abstractions. Mr. Foster's works have been included in many exhibitions, including the Long Island Museum of American Art, The Noyes Museum ( NJ ), The Kinsey Institute for Research at Indiana State University, Montclair State University (NJ), and others.

"Scientists tell us that us that the world is in a constant state of flux, with the molecules of even“inanimate” objects constantly bombarding one another. In this manner change is affected, energy is transformed from one kind to another;- it never disappears, it simply changes form. My work is an attempt to emulate that constant flux, the metamorphic nature of all things, both living and “not“; and there is no better example of this flux as in the human face and form. Thus I am rarely content to remain locked in one “systemic” form or style for very long, and seek to explore many points of view.”
