Rihaan started his film career in Melbourne, Australia. In C31, he worked as an actor as well as production assistance. Consequently, he was invited to attend the workshop of Samuel Johnson & Sarah Hallam in Australia. Back in India, he completed training at all levels in Shiamak Davar Institute for Performing Arts. Shiamak Davar then selected him for his special potential batch. Afterward, Rihaan worked in theaters and has performed in more than 20 stage shows, TV serials and short films.

His film Dust of Orphan won audience vote award and been broadcast on PBC, Channel Thirteen – Reet13 Program.
Award & Recognition
In year 2009, He made a short film titled 'The Burial of Daughters'. He won Best Film Non Fiction award[1] at Sixteen:Nine International film Festival organized by Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management, Mumbai. 'The Burial of Daughters' also got OFFICIAL SELECTION [2] at 7th SEDICICORTO[3] International festival Italy and in 2010 it got 2nd prize at 3rd Global Film Festival, Noida organized by Asian Academy of Film & Television. It also nominated and screened at 3rd International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (Dept of Cultural Affairs, Govt of Kerala), organized by International Film Festival of Kerala & Kerala State Chalachitra Academy.
His first short film titled ‘Dust of Orphan’ won WNET REEL 13 Audience Award[4] and film screened in New York on TV Thirteen[5]. By Achievement, Leading film institute Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics happily gave 50% scholarship to study Advance Diploma in 3D Expert Program.
He worked in The Climate Change Project - India Chapter. Rihaan worked as Content Analyser and handled film-editing. The film went on to receive award from Mr. Al Gore, former Vice President, USA.
