Mambo has been dancing for over 20 years and has been teaching dance since 2000. She has worked at different schools as a teaching artist and has dance with some of the premiere bands to come out of Africa in the 20th Century, including Tete Bruhle, Soukous Stars. She is also the choreographer and managing director of Siren-Protectors of the Rainforest. She was featured in the Nanny Diaries with Alicia Keys and Scarlett Johanssen. She has done workshops at Festivals, Yale University, Texas Tech University, Cornell University, Ithaca College and corporate events. Her classes stress movements from Central Africa and she goes in dept with classes by explaining the movement and fusing feet and handclapping techniques along with traditional songs.
