Marta Gazicka is a New York based architect with interests in urban regeneration projects and historical preservation. She also collaborates with artists and artist groups. Her most recent project, The Cardboard Gallery, is a 10x12 structure assembled from cardboard modules and other reclaimed materials, inspired from the legacy and historic context of Robert Gair, who invented and manufactured corrugated cardboard in warehouse district of Dumbo, then known as 'Gairville'. The building will be open to the public as part of the 13th Annual DUMBO Art Under the Bridge Festival. [show less]
