Critic, poet, and professor Bruce Hainley has written poignantly about Los Angeles art, and art around the world. His essays on William E. Jones, Tom Friedman and Trisha Donnelly probe visual culture with gaping honesty. Hainley, who has been a contributing editor at ArtForum and an instructor in Art Center's MFA program, has published 'Foul Mouth,' a book of poetry, and also contributed to books about Richard Hawkins, Tomma Abts, and Andy Warhol, among others.
