Anna Ross is an Acting Specialist at the University of Toronto, with experience in both theatre and film/TV, represented by Howard Weeks at The I.N. Group (416-530-4669). Currently, Anna will be performing the lead role in G. L. Horton's "Pregnant Pause" at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre on Tues. July 7. She also has several other projects coming up, including a short film, as well as live readings of full-length screenplays at the ReelHeART International Film Festival. In Fall 2009, tune back in to a new season of "The Green Room" on ThatChannel.com to see Anna interviewing guests in the entertainment industry, each Monday at 7:00. One accomplishment of this past year was Anna's involvement as a principal actor in "Whatever That Is," directed by Inga Dievulyte, which was one of thirteen films across Canada to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival Student Showcase. In addition to acting in film/TV and theatre, Anna enjoys playwriting. One of her plays, "Baby Shower," won a Canadian contest and was performed at Acadia University. In her spare time, Anna keeps busy with training in dance, especially ballet, and piano. Having moved to Toronto in late 2008 from the small town of Dundas ON, Anna has been more than thrilled with all the new opportunities to get involved in the arts.
