Danielle Dumille (aka MF DOOM, DOOM, Viktor Vaughn, King Geedorah, The Supervillain, Metal Fingers, and Zev Love X) is a pioneering hip hop artist known for his unorthodox delivery style and an emphasis on breaking away from the traditional compositional structures of rap music. First coming to the mainstream's attention with the album Madvillain, he was noted for his short song length, lack of traditional verse-chorus structure, and almost surreal lyrics. Dumille also covers his face with a mask for all performances and takes on a "Supervillain" persona that is inspired by comic books. Building off of the likes of the Wu-tang and Dr. Octagon he uses this concept to build his persona and albums around a continuous mythology. [show less]
