Susan Marshall is the Artistic Director/Choreographer for Susan Marshall & Company. Her work has been performed extensively throughout New York at such venues as the Brooklyn Academy of Music and NY City Center, as well as at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, SpringDanse (Netherlands), Edinburgh International Festival, to name a few. Most recently, Susan has rode the technology generation wave, creating Frame Dances, dances choreographed and filmed specifically for viewing on cell phones. Susan is the recipient of three BESSIE awards (1985, 1997, 2006) for choreographic achievement. She collaborated with composer Philip Glass for Les Enfants Terribles, a dance/opera for which she won a BESSIE in 1997. [show less]
