One half of the now defunct Death From Above 1979, Sebastien Grainger has branched out from the dance-punk sound of DFA1979 and taken a more organic approach to producing music.
His debut solo album "Sebastien Grainger & The Mountains", released in October 2008, is full of emotion and complexity, drawing on basic, fundamental elements to create beautiful, melodic, raw soundscapes.
His alternate projects include The Rhythm Method, a funk/soul creation backed by Grainger that released a 7" in the UK on 50 Bones Records, and several remixes for the likes of DFA1979 and Metric. He's also lent his vocals to the Does it Offend You, Yeah? track "Let's Make Out" and provides drums on the K-os single "Sunday Morning". [show less]
