From hosting block parties in The Bronx, New York to winning a Grammy Award, Louie Vega or Little Louie Vega is the voice of Latin house and one of the most important DJ/Producers of the underground NYC house/dance music scene. Vega is half of Masters At Work –the other half is fellow DJ/Producer Kenny Dope, a musical team that have produced music with artists such as Roy Ayers, George Benson, La India, Marc Anthony, Curtis Mayfield, Tito Puente and many more. He is part of the band Elements of Life that combines elements of Latin music with soul and jazz. He is nephew of late salsa star Héctor Lavoe. [show less]
