Nicole Pollentier is a poet and curator with an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University and an MA in Curatorial Studies from Bard College. Her first book, smolt, was winner of the Poesia Tejana award and published by Wings Press. She is the author of two book-length poems, the frog poem project and the place where you were foreign. Pollentier has traveled in Mexico, Japan, Greenland, and throughout Europe. The recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship, she lived for one year in Reykjavik, Iceland.
