Philippe Safire creates multimedia installations, synthesizing a variety of media: animation, computer films and still images. Though Safire no longer produces paintings or drawings, he retains a knowledge and technique that infuses his digital work. 

Philippe Safire pursues his aesthetic interest in the digital pixel by drawing attention to individual pixels, light and colors… The artist explores the constraints of the digital age, while relying on the endless possibilities offerred by the digital medium. His art addresses the seductive aspects of consumerism, the effects of consumerism on Nature (such as global warming), and the divine aspect of Nature. 

Philippe Safire lives and works in New York City, where he is currently participating in a variety of shows and collaborative projects.
