Trained as a painter, the sculpture, installation and video art evolved in the 90's.
Bronze casting lost wax, lead, steel wool, soap, glass, tar, iron, plastic, are ever-present media. Some are repeated with insistence, as the research I'm looking for forms, techniques and materials, including from industry and daily life to extend the language itself and the space allocated to traditional monolithic sculpture.
My work frequently reflects on the cultural stereotypes surrounding female, religion, power structures, their ambivalence and symbolic violence. Developing these visual references- without leaving aside the irony- hoping to find a turning point complicity with the viewer. Which link the local with the universal.
