Man, first carried by woman in the womb, has never slowed down. On the contrary, he mounted a horse then made trains then cars then planes then rockets. It seems man has an unappeasable desire for speed. This is what interests, and worries, the architect, phenomenologist, and theorist, Paul Virilio. What happens we we go faster and faster?
