[more]Coming from a creative family, Lois has always had a huge passion and love for The Visual Arts.
Throughout her studies she has had the opportunity to explore different subjects from Textiles, 3D Design, Multimedia, Graphics and photography.Some of her past works included creating albums for bands and promotional posters for venues, incorporating typography, imagery and logo creation.
Lois is currently studying an Illustration & Animation BA course at the University of East London and is now in her 2nd year. Over the time she has spent studying at UEL she has taken on a wide variety of different projects all of which have spurred her on to learn new and exciting techniques. Some of these include, 2D animation, Textile design and illustration designs. Each day for her is a challenge and with her skills progressing at a steady pace she is confident that one day she can take on a career in the Art industry.
Her ideas come from, like most artists, using her own imagination. she tries to incorporate different techniques and different materials to suit the style that she wants to achieve, most of her work progresses from doodles or sketches and is worked on continuously until the final outcome is achieved. Her work can be best described as spontaneous and unique, a crazy combination of a dark gothic perspective with psychedelic designs and wacky characters.
When she has completed her BA course at UEL she plans to expand on her skills and knowledge by applying for work experience in either the illustration or animation field.
From this she hopes to continue into a future career in either illustration/animation.
