Description: In 1942 Andre Breton organized this retrospective of Surrealist art in New York titled "First Papers of Surrealism." Marcel Duchamp created an installation called Mile of String seen webbed across the room, coupled with the several children they asked to ballroom dance in the gallery it was very difficult for the guests to see the exhibit.
