Description: "Facial Peel," is a new video that I am currently working on. This piece examines the tactics women go through to obtain beauty. I fight against the constraining facial mask with exaggerated gestures, creating wrinkles in the mask. This is a reference to the conventional beauty routines and to the gestures women should avoid to keep wrinkles at bay. With exaggerated sounds, I attempt to emphasize the strange rituals women put themselves through and to comment on how we define beauty.
