Edgy. Cutting-edge, leading-edge, sharp. Advanced: designed down to the microscopic level for perfect smoothness and performance. Often comes in black; but gray, white, and certain elite, bright non-primaries also serve occasionally as accents. The high tech is reassuringly sure of itself, deeply cool, and tends to efface all its predecessors just by its presence.

Themes represent basic categories of thought, emotion, or value. While our assignment of themes may at times seem arbitrary or whimsical, they serve to link together artists and movements along non- hierarchial pathways.
