German artist Jan Vormann likes to repair things. But he doesn't use cement or mortar to fix cracks and bullet holes in city walls, he fits colourful Lego pieces into the voids, creating a surreal effect - the negative space becomes the center of attention. Whimsical and playful, Vormann's interventions remind us that everything can be fixed. A joyous antidote to our throw-away society.
