Fashion. I have always viewed fashion as a costume party that everyone is allowed to take part in. You don a piece of clothing and you immediately turn into a personality; millions of judgements can be made about you by what you choose to wear. And with fashion, you get to manipulate that perception and make people see you the way you want to be seen. I don't know about you but to me there is something really comforting about that. Basically, we are all artists, sculpting and crafting the way we are seen in society. Obviously I am passionate about this subject, which is why I am always on the prowl for great new designers, both couture and ready to wear. One of my favorites is the work of Annie Lim and her brand Mileinna. The pieces are all made with jersey cotton, are super comfortable to wear, not to mention, they are so cute and stylish! Ms. Lim works in conjunction with the very talented photographer, Pat Biesemans, to document her work. The photos are art in their own right. Who are some of your favorite fashion designers?
