European project DanSCe Dialogues 2 announced today the call for entries for the creation of its logo.
This offers a unique opportunity for artists, working independently or as part of a team, to create a visual identity for this exciting two-year Cross-Channel dance program.
The aim of DanSCe Dialogues 2 is to stimulate artistic innovation and co-operation within the art form of contemporary dance, specifically between the UK and France. It is made up of nine partners:
L’ODIA Normandie (Rouen and Caen, Normandy); The Point (Eastleigh); South East Dance (Brighton); Take Art (South Petherton); University of Bath; Spectacle Vivant en Bretagne (Rennes, Bretagne), Le Triangle (Rennes, Bretagne); Le Centre Choregraphique National De Caen (Basse-Normandie); and Le Centre Choregraphique National Du Havre (Haute-Normandie).
The winner of the competition will see their logo used as the basis for all branding for the duration of the two-year cross-channel project, an exciting prospect for any artist, illustrator or designer looking to establish an international profile. The winner will also receive a €500 prize, plus a pair of tickets per show to attend two performances during DanSCe Dialogues 2.
Entrance to the competition is by open submission. The winner will be selected by a panel of members from the partner organisations. The closing date for submissions is 15 September, with the winner being announced on
