Anthony Andrews' The Searcher is an independent short film that follows a lone wanderer on his quest for something intangible and indescribable through words. This solitary man's quest takes him through different realms of consciousness, waking and sleep, questioning the very nature of reality along the way. Ultimately, he finds that the point of the journey is the travel itself, not the end destination. Narration was taken from noted expert on Eastern religion Alan Watts' dialogues, and music is featured by Iron&Wine, Modest Mouse, Cults, and Sigur Ros. Enjoy!
