So a couple of months ago I posted a letter from my friend Frank (http://www.artandculture.com/feature/1978)
It was a joke between me and him about his email address, which references a famous Montreal establishment, he responded in humorous fashion and I asked him what he thought about me publishing his email online with concept of people writing him fictional letters too which he could respond too, if he was so inspired. He thought it was a great idea and said I should. Well I guess I took to long to do what I said I was gonna do and here is his creative response to my procrastination.

Regarding  our New Years party.Let me be painfully honest with you. First I didn`t originally invite you because you always say you will show up and never do. Birthdays ,Dinners kids graduations it`s always the same . ``Yes of course I' m coming Why would I not come``,Who knows but you never do.This year I said why bother. It was my sister who asked me to give you one last chance. So when you called on Dec.6th  and 7th and every single day thereafter I thought this time she spoke to him and he is going to show up.Richard you even called Christmas day . After asking if you could bring a friend I had little or no doubt in my mind you would be here .   You said you had already purchased three bottles of champagne ,but never wished me Merry Christmas you bum. The best part is when the clock struck midnight and we raised our glasses to welcome the new year half the people had no bubbly. As had been my tradition for years.I don`t blame you you .I blame myself.I should have known better.you are not responsible,trustworthy or likable.  You are about as good as a betamax .Anyway I am having a party on the 14th stop by if you are free.

 Seeing as this was sent to me in mid January, I guess all he had to say was true. So in hopes it's too not late and it gets your and his creative juices flowing here is Frank's Email address so you can write him a fictional account about eating at his establishment or attending one of his events. Really you can write about anything you choose, all I ask is you remain creative and polite as Frank is being kind enough to share his email address because you really couldn't meet a nicer guy and nobody needs to read and email full of swears and abuse. If you are so inclined to write Frank a creative letter and if it inspires a response you can message him here,  franksmontreal@yahoo.ca ,and if it inspires him so he will write you back and I will publish it here immediately .
