Here is an example of a letter I recently wrote to a possibble investor. This is a further expantion and example of my thought on how Art Investment Packages would work.

Dear Sir
Here are options for the works I have in mind for your folder

http://rossettoink.com/2009/05/21/colossal-an-oldie-but-goody-350/
http://rossettoink.com/2009/03/19/there-are-still-heros-in-comunist-countries-a-resent-image/
These works are presently hanging in the show.
Colossal is one of the last original word drawings I came up with out of the original eight(it is priced at 675 as it is a prime piece)
Star of Mary is a work I made for my daughter, I could part with it though if It  could pay some of our bills
There are Still Heros... is open for options
As for the other two works
She

has sold and
the other is an unfinished word drawing I put up for people to see the process, the likes of which I have hundreds
So If Colossal and Star of Mary do not sell I think you would appreciate either. I am presently leaving them on the open market as I believe they are both prime pieces, If someone is willing to invest $2000 for both these works as well as a commission(word painting of some sort) the works will be sent off as security for the patrons investment while I work on the painting which will be delivered in spring.I am offering this package to a number of people I believe will be interested in it. as for how packages will be conducted after that I will have a folder with images of work for people who have already invested, this folder will contain works of art that they have discussed interest in, works that I believe they will be interested in, works influenced from our discussions( I already have some in mind for you, such as continued quote works, a word painting in homage to xxxxxx[after his style] and a top secret image that started brewing in mind recently) as well as studies that where contrived while I worked on various commissions. I will always keep at least ten percent of the best work. Works will be distributed as investments are made. I.E. Percy Yap had commissioned a painting(17x20 inches) he paid me 650$ in advance before the painting was finished he found other works he liked and sent me another 1000$. He received those works while I continued working on the painting and when the commission was finished I sent him, off a package with the painting, and some studies. Which I believe increased the value of his investment. (as you could probably never buy the painting of him during his life[a painting of a lost love] he now has others with which he might part when the work increases in value(he actually has one of the largest collections of my work containing almost twenty works, which he has paid for over the past nine years). one of my oldest friends has a collection of about ten works (most of which he attained before I started selling my work. John McCrank's collection must be getting up around nine or ten pieces(he just started making enough to invest)  Both Percy and John are owed work John is owed a painting(his choice any time), Percy is owed work if I die before pay him money I owe. They will always have V.I.P.status and works will always put aside for them and made with them in mind(ie wedding gifts, thank you cards etc).

These are works that are already in your folder, works

http://rossettoink.com/2009/05/24/untitled-continuos-line-drawing-350/ (this work is the style I worked in from between 1992-2000, I have sketchbooks in Alberta with lots of this style, also lots of life studies very rare)
other works that would automatically go into your folder are works inspired by xxxxxx or ones(like heros that I think would suit you particular sensibilities) same goes with works I might I find from the past.

So thats whats been going through my head with all this. I have been taking it a little easy, I am currently working on a commision for a tattoo for the folks at the beauty salon, and writting here and there for Art+Culture in general though I am now getting ready for the holidays as I worked very hard last year and am now celebrating all the success.
