The week that was.

The Sun is shining in London at the moment.  I have been waking up to bright blue skies and the warm rays of the Sun.

Paid a visit to the new improved William Morris Gallery in Waltham Forest.  I enjoyed every bit of it.  He was an activist artist, totally inspirational and heavily committed to his craft.  I am going to do my PhD study on William Morris.

I found that I have an intrinsically personal and cultural connection to the artistry of William Morris - which is awesome and mindboggling at the same time.

I watched the movie 'EL CANTANTE' a biopic on Hector LaVoe, a famous puerto rican, Salsa's first superstar, it was fantastic.  The music is timeless.  This man was special but a tortured soul who ended up dying from AIDs because of his drug abuse.
