The Toronto International Film Festival started yesterday, and we'll be featuring reviews from that star-studded event soon... but in the meantime, the Montreal 60 Second Film Festival (M60) has also been running from September 9th to 11th. That's right, two hours of films, each a minute long! If brevity is the soul of wit, then this is where you'll find both. "It will be a breathless two hours of cinema, sequenced for pacing, rhythm, theme & jubilation. These three nights will be your only opportunity to see the M60 films with a big crowd, on a big screen." This year's theme is DECEPTION.
Friday, September 11 is the last day, so get down to La Sala Rossa. Film starts at 9pm. Doors and box-office open at 8:00 pm each screening night. $7. DVDs will be for sale at the screenings. There will be an after-party on Friday night, open to everyone!
