The DanceNOW [NYC] Festival will launch September 8th and continue through October 24th.  Featuring performances in three different locations - Dance Theater Workshop (Sept 8-12), outdoor performances at 62 E 4th Street and indoor at Duo Theater (Sept 26), and Joe's Pub (Oct 22-24) - and an incredible line-up, I honestly can't decide which show to buy tickets for!  I would see every show if it wasn't for my dwindling budget.  Are you in my boat? My suggestion for the best bang for your buck: Buy tickets for one performance at DTW and one at Joe's Pub IN ADVANCE ($20 instead of $25 at the door) AND attend the FREE shows on the 26th [which run from 12-6pm and feature 19 different dance companies!!! Wow.], making sure not to repeat any of the dance companies in your choice of performances so you can see the most possible.  Think of it as $40 for an all-inclusive pass. Money well spent.
