Check out this wonderful solo by Trisha Brown as seen on ubu.com. The second half of the film proposes something interesting for obvious reasons: it's the same as the first half but played in slow motion. This reframes the movement in a totally different context and then the material becomes new to us again. I thought it might be interesting to apply that same idea within a different performance medium so I took an excerpt from a recording from a piece of music I wrote that is scored for solo violin and slowed it down many times electronically while maintaining the pitch.
