Shannon Benine is an internationally exhibited interdisciplinary artist working within the mediums of photography, video and instillation. She received her MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago and she currently teaches photography at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Fantastical and surreal, Luis Gispert’s photographic and video amalgams are visually rich explorations of cultural codes. Featuring eleven large-scale glossy photographs from two recent series and two looped videos, Gispert’s exhibition at Artpace illustrates a concern with, and critique of, vari
