José Limón was a very important figure in the development in modern dance. In 1928 he moved to NYC after studying as an art major for a year at UCLA. New York was where he saw his first dance performance which "simply and irrevocably changed my life."
I am an interdisciplinary artist focusing on memory, time, and poetry. Currently I am engaged in several ongoing projects which map my personal history with a grander aim to tap into a collective stream of desires, ambitions, emotions, and fantasies.
