Damien was born in Dublin, Ireland in December 1973 and grew up in Celbridge, Co Kildare, Ireland.  There are four main band members who play with Damien: Lisa Hannigan (vocals), Vyvienne Long (cello), Tom Osander (drums, percussion) and Shane Fitzsim
